Just got done at Tootsie’s and need to unwind. Figured I’d write a little update. I spent this afternoon writing my first trucking song. My buddies Matt Cline, Brent Baxter, and I worked on penning a song for Ray Stevens’ new album. They’re looking for trucking songs….so we wrote one. Definitely way different than anything else I have written. I hope to have a clean copy of it sometime soon. I’ll post it up as one of the “Songs of the Week.” I’ll be curious to see what you all think about it.
Also, I’m going to be having a “free download day” sometime soon. I’m going to allow everyone who comes to my myspace during a certain period of time to download some of my songs for free….so check back and be on the lookout for that.
