MACON, GA–.Nashville country rock musicians Anthony Orio and The Goodfellers Band will be returning to Whiskey River as an opening act for country artist Sammy Kershaw on Friday May 8 from 9:30-10:30pm. They will also be performing Thursday May 7 and Saturday May 9 kicking off at 9:30pm both nights.
Their show features popular country and rock covers along with original songs from their anticipated debut album due out this summer.
Anthony Orio and The Goodfellers have been performing their brand of high voltage country music together weekly at the world famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge since January of 2006 and tour throughout the United States. Since moving to Nashville in 1999, Orio has had several original songs published at Universal Music, Jody Williams Music, and Major Bob Music and has a cut on an up coming trucking album by Ray Stevens. His original songs landed him a spot in ASCAP’s performance series “Hot on the Row”-a series designed to showcase Nashville’s up and coming talent.
